Not every person accepting insurance would be fixed immediately if the largest provider was the central plan. Theres no need to force anybody when 50% or more are on the plan. Additionally costs would be massively reduced on the physicians end. I know one clinic that has 2 billing specialists in a staff of 9 just because handling insurance is such a pain. Those expenses would be effectively gone with one large carrier, so its not just a matter of pay rate.
