A bulk of the MSM has a strong establishment-left bias.
This certainly does create biases as people consume their narrative/propaganda.

I am not saying the MSM backs up whatever leftists think.

I'm certainly not gullible enough to believe he independently came up with the idea to censor fox, OANN and other dissenting voices and to 'deprogram' trump supporters without hearing that narrative that was heavily pushed in the MSM this week. Maybe you are, idk.

The issue is that it is stupid and evil and he doesn't have the maturity or integrity to defend it on merit and claims anyone who disagrees is the idiot.

leftists can learn from other leftists. whether in person or online, MSM does not need to be involved at all.

why we get a constant flow of allegations that every leftist is spoonfed all of their ideas by MSM, rather than the obverse has always confused me.

alleging that someone is just an MSM puppet give the MSM too much agency. they're just mirroring whatever the consensus is to make money, people want bias confirming news by-and-large. the overarching theme that the MSM is about control, rather than money, for their main motivation is idiotic to me.

Most people on the left do get their information largely from the MSM. I don't think that is a controversial statement.
The MSM has played a large role in crafting this political atmosphere of TDS leftists.

He is directly parroting the MSM narrative of the week.
I am saying it applies to him specifically and quite obviously.



This is grossly underestimating and misunderstanding the MSM. They have close ties to the CIA and other government agencies and regularly craft narratives and talking points for their audience to repeat.
They are literal propagandists.
Sure money also plays a role, and getting their audience riled up and thinking dissent is evil can be profitable for them. But to think their channels are just repeating popular grassroots narratives that regular leftists already came up with is way off the mark.

I have already clarified that I am not saying all leftists are just parroting MSM talking points.
As I was saying, MSM bias is strongly for the establishment-left, (with an encroaching socialist/progressive bent in recent years as they integrate with the democratic party.)
