That the response was adequate but not perfect, and that people should not worry because we are moving in the right direction.

Just let it go bro. You're not going to impeach him just because he doesn't talk like shakespeare.

Who talking about impeachment? Where did that random statement come from?
Shakespeare? how about English at least at the level we would expect for grade school kids. How about that? You fanatics are so defensive its clear you know he sounds like a complete idiot.

wrong again. there are only two options: shakespeare or bumbling fool. and since no one can be expected to 'talk like shakespeare' (lol), bumbling fool is perfectly fine.

coherent english, clear messaging, listening to the experts, and stopping the science denial is just unreasonable to expect from the president of the united states.

TRUMP: "The germ has gotten so brilliant that the antibiotic can't keep up with it ... there's a whole genius to it ... not only is it hidden, but it's very smart."
if his supporters don't understand how fucking stupid this statement is.. they will never change their opinions.. base level facts are not applicable to him.

It's almost comical how so many people are still not able to treat 90% of Trump's speeches as white noise in 2020, how they are still not able to separate the core message from the bluster and rambling. It's not that hard...

it’s due to their own lack of cognitive ability. really isn’t the fault of users like fendur and duhcrossbones, they were born with afflictions they didn’t ask for.

yea because it should be everyone ELSE's responsibility to decode monkey lingo and insert actual facts into his conversations.
Please justify his lack understanding of antibiotics are not effective on a virus. This coming from the party that has Vday meltdowns, tan suit revolts, and golfing amnesia..
what flavor of kool-aide you pick?

the thing is that even those, who are 'smart' enough to understand how stupid it is, are too biased and insecure to ever admit it. they will spin the most ridiculous narratives to avoid addressing it directly, or rationalise it as 'technically correct', no matter how wrong it is. they would rather insult their own intelligence than that of their cult leader.

it's that brownshirt mentality, that uncritical acceptance of authority and its messaging, which makes situations like the current one so dangerous: science denial is rampant amongst trumptards, and his attitude, his statements, and (lack of) actions have directly contributed to the death of thousands of americans. obviously it's hard to put an exact number on this, but it's easy to see how a quicker and more competent response, alongside clear messaging and decisive action, could have significantly limited the spread of the virus in america.

of course they will be mortally offended and attack anyone who dares to acknowledge that, they will twist themselves into pretzels and claim since it's impossible to name a concrete number, it's not proven, and therefore common sense doesn't apply - but that does of course not change the truth that is so obvious to everyone with a working brain...

yup..
I still cannot figure out what they think the benefit to being an idiot is.. I guess it's easy to defend..
He always talks like that... Don't take him literal... He's joking.. It will magically disappear... he didn't mean antibiotics... he didn't really imply the virus can think.. blah blah blah
