I didn't say it was a democracy, nor was it intended to be one.
I don't like or want either. Tyranny of the majority isn't some great thing.

dont need to go further, thanks you so much for your statement and have a nice day :)

I tore apart your post and you ran off the first second I challenged your presuppositions.
This happened right after you accused others of being " typical stupid brainwashed" people with "low education" and "misinformation".

To be expected I guess.

Of course there is. They are threatening their very freedom to live and make basic decisions about their life and then run with the narrative that the opposition to super expansive/expensive state control are a bunch of 'nut jobs' and evil morons paid off by the evil corporations and koch brothers.
Bernie sanders is guilty of this on the national stage. His response to inconvenient tax rate facts was to get mad and question their funding.

Those are common tactics with some of the regulars here, but you probably missed the boat on a lot more nastiness a few years back. (That one mad self-hating vitriolic commie still comes around from time to time to express his hatred for basic economics, voluntary associations and my guts)

Decisions like which school to send my kid school, which health care plan can I afford, which day care can my kids go to while I go to my job?

Those are on the progressive platform. The conservative platform is making sure the help stays dumb, sick, cheap, and can't vote. Only one platform helps working Americans.

Bernie 2016.

School choice is widely opposed on the left, Bernie now included.
The health plan he voted for raised the cost of healthcare plans and greatly restricted choices.

Enormous government tax and spend schemes and massive regulations are not required for free choice and actively inhibit choice.

Yes he would help kick them out of the working class.
He would help them become poorer by severely damaging the economy.
He would help lock the poor and their children out of jobs with artificial raises in the cost to hire them and by trying to tax the shit out of people who want to do business and employ people in America.
And he would help raise the cost of goods and services they want to buy.
What a nice guy.

Free expensive stuff, central planning, massive taxation and government, pretend scarcity doesn't exist, end free choice, mercantilism. YAY!

Cut and paste anybody's name you don't like there and you would say the same thing. Anybody but your guy you would say the same thing. You are uncritical. Your responses are canned.

Another pathetic personal attack without substance or merit. Congrats.
Way to abandon critical thinking, information and substance after your previous rant about it and then running away from my arguments again.
Completely hypocritical.

You say 'capitalist' as if there is some sort of irony there that a capitalist would try to explain economic concepts, when it should be expected in a conversation with economically ignorant bernie supporters.
Yes many advocates of capitalism and freer markets have a stronger understanding of economics than most and have accurate criticisms of Bernie's platform, myself included.
That remains true even if you stomp your feet and support him and throw around personal insults when you hear things you don't like.

This is a false attack on the characteristics of me posting and my personal opposition to others who support somewhat similar bigger government agendas rather than an attack on the truth and merit of what I said.

There are plenty of people I don't like that don't support many of the same policies as Bernie or his ilk and I would not respond to them in the same way with the same arguments and criticisms I just presented to you.

The criticisms in that post are particularly relevant and particularly catered to Bernie's platform you endorsed.
Many politicians and posters I disagree with are not looking to double the minimum wage or greatly increase protectionism/tariffs and taxes. etc etc. Nor are they proposing 'free' everything under the sun run by the government and paid for by taxpayers.

There being a multitude of other politicians who support some of his platform to some lesser degree does not give it a free pass either.
Actions have consequences, no matter how many support it.

Essentially calling an argument old hat is not a refutation.
You getting tired of hearing about the same devastating consequences of policies you continually support doesn't magically make them go away.

P.S. send out a search party for Valhalls. I have some great new examples of the type of toxicity from the left we were discussing. Thanks for helping out saucy^^
