Of course there is. They are threatening their very freedom to live and make basic decisions about their life and then run with the narrative that the opposition to super expansive/expensive state control are a bunch of 'nut jobs' and evil morons paid off by the evil corporations and koch brothers.
Bernie sanders is guilty of this on the national stage. His response to inconvenient tax rate facts was to get mad and question their funding.

Those are common tactics with some of the regulars here, but you probably missed the boat on a lot more nastiness a few years back. (That one mad self-hating vitriolic commie still comes around from time to time to express his hatred for basic economics, voluntary associations and my guts)

Actually your country isnt a democracy but an oligarchy, guys like sanders are the only way to fix it, but i think it's maybe too late and even if such guy is elected he would be assassinated or impeached in various ways.

I didn't say it was a democracy, nor was it intended to be one.
I don't like or want either. Tyranny of the majority isn't some great thing.

Opposition to Sanders and extreme leftists doesn't mean i embrace oligarchy.



This is patently ridiculous.
Putting even more power into the hands of a few doesn't eliminate oligarchy.
I can also think of many distinctly different ways to fix it that are radically opposed to the core of what Bernie is advocating.


Low information and widespread ignorance is a mainstay of both major parties and most of their candidates.
I've been successfully driving home the point of the widespread ignorance of Bernie and his supporters and their hostility towards facts over the past few months.


I made no mistake there.
I did not deny that there are several anti-immigrants and racists, who are particularly stirred up due to recent events, and I would agree that stupid people are voting in terrible politicians and creating horrible policies.
I merely disputed the notion that far leftists aren't spewing hate as well.

btw believing their is a threat from government subsidized mass immigration from radical Islamic areas and you not liking it doesn't necessarily mean they are wrong or all racists.
