I'm actually starting the adoption process now, so yeah, eat a dick. We are even considering taking on giving a special needs child a forever home.

We could probably safely have another kid biologically but there are major risks, neither of us want to take the substantial break from careers required for a baby (we are getting a kid not baby), and kids are out there needing homes so we might start collecting as many as we can afford.

Cool on the adoption thing. On the point of my values system, I've always felt having at least 3 children is a duty on various levels.
