the doublethink is real. europe is both overrun by hostile foreigners and close to collapsing, but also a largely homogenised, peaceful society...

no double think required. i've maintained for a long time that europe's problem is 2 fold:

1. the deeply homogenized ivory tower society is especially suseptible to issues coming from low income societies. like an athletes immune system who has no fat.

2. a combination of the homogenized society and PC thinking causes a lack of response in the form of reculturing programs. which could help improve the fringe issues mass migration can cause.

it seems you're only capable of arguing strawmans and taking clear hyperbole for humorous effect serious, when you need it to be.

now be a good little boy and come back with a lazy "i was only joking" meme, even though you're the only one who didnt get the joke all along.

in what way? is Europe (at least the places with "migrant crises") not a largely white place, with drastically lower income inequality compared to the USA, with drastically lower levels of crime than the USA (especially violent crimes)?

further, do you feel that enough is done for migrants to help them smoothly integrate into these societies?

Migrants dont cause as many issues in places like the USA because we're more equipped to handle the types of problems they invariably bring. the translation of this is that the 'problem' in Europe is not nearly as bad as the right winged media wants to portray it as.

ive been in the middle on this issue for a long time, and its similar to fascism in Europe. it's not that the problem is at crisis level, its that a smooth pond has a more noticeably ripple once you cast a stone into it. And yet fascism is a good thing to keep an eye on and try to limit authoritarian govt policies, just as helping migrants immigrate is equally important.

That's a strawman, pure and simple. Beo acknowledges that social conflict is as much a driving factor on mass shootings as anything, as are racial tensions.

You europeans are starting to get a taste of what racial tensions are like, albeit on a micro scale compared to the US's (both historically and in modern times), but you're still a largely homogenized peaceful society.

The USA has more violence than other places because we have more racial tensions, more income inequality, and more guns. but if you remove guns (as i told you before) you'll affect street crime a lot, but not mass killings. mass killings are still motivated by far more than guns.

you are just dodging around your silver bullet, which is that you have zero credible answer for how to remove guns from 1.) criminals 2.) would-be mass shooters. what you're suggesting is a 'trickle down' technique for removing guns. first the lawful ones turn them in in the hopes that in 20 years they dont make it to criminals. it's actually quite funny to even think this would do much of anything.

all of your posts boil down to a dreamer yelling "guys if we had less guns we'd have less deaths". congrats, nice 'point'. now be predictable and come back at me with zero proof you can remove guns, and a bunch of 'debunked narrative', 'moronic talking point', 'rebutted argument', 'lack of logic', and every other predictable say-nothing phrase we've all come to expect from you. full snark, light on credible arguments. stay on that leash.

and 'all' you had to do to 'prove' your point, is omit the very next sentence after the highlighted one.

and of course act like gun deaths that are NOT mass shootings are somehow irrelevant or lives not worth saving, but that is just par for the course for gun nuts...
