Though to be more specific- Palestinians and especially Gaza are regressive and intolerant of gays even by middle eastern standards, one of the lowest rated places in the entire world for equaldex. Which isn't even that fair for the other countries because they list places like Afghanistan as worse when the afghans are so tribal and isolated that you can't really look at the taliban as if they're any kind of central government, as opposed to Hamas having control of the Gaza Strip and killing people for being gay. Hell, there's probably literal cases of gays being thrown off roofs in Gaza too if I bothered googling for them
