You do social work, what do you know about the economy? Lol
The Chief Executive officers of nonprofits tend to be social workers. My job title is utilization review manager and I work a lot on the business end. The care episodes I run are several thousand dollars a day. To be responsible for millions of dollars you have to know a little bit about economics.
What I do as microeconomic because it's running a business, But I'm not real green in the macro stuff.
My graduate degree was focused on macro practice and social welfare administration not direct practice.
I'm not as good at therapy at some of my peers but I make sure the hospital gets paid for hospitalizations.
My expertise is actually in moving bodies between levels of care.
