Personally, I'm not a fan of single payer systems where everything is nationalized and there is no more competition.

Putting private health insurance companies, as well as big pharma, on a short leash is the best approach imho.

What is an example of this system?

Our system is so cheap that private health often ends up being a rort.

Headline was "Baltimore Returns Fire after Trump Tweets". Knowing Baltimore, this could mean literal fires in the city. Lol.

There is no imminent threat at the border. That is a histrionic statement. Exaggerating the issue greatly doesn't change it into an imminent threat, just an exaggerated issue.

Only conservatives would think it is more important to keep brown people out than prevent poisoning our planet anymore lol.

I'll just challenge your statement: What imminent threat to the United States is there? What are these concentration camps addressing? As far as I understand it is just people coming here. They aren't armed, have tanks, are agents of a foreign government etc, just people our ancestors who came here before us.

The fact that we have up to 20-35 million foreign nationals residing in our country and we're magically not supposed to do anything about it, doesn't seem like an exaggeration to me; especially since they have the potential to skew our districts and electoral college. In recent months illegal immigrants have been numbering in the hundreds of thousands. At what point does it become worthy of our attention?

And there you go with the "brown people" and concentration camp bullshit. Yeah, because yodeling redheads in lederhosen are the primary demographic who live in the regions where the majority of the illegals originate from, hurr-durr. "They're literally concentration camps!" I get it. You believe if you repeat it enough times, it'll become true. But nobody is forcing these people to remain in the detention centers. They're free to leave any time they want as long as they return to their country of origin. The Jews and Japs of WW2 WISH they had that luxury. Instead, these "asylum seekers" are picky and choosy about where they want to seek "asylum". For fuck sake, man.

And you think human driven pollution since the beginning of the industrial revolution isn't a serious problem?

There are a ton of ways we are impacted by industrial waste and technological byproducts that hurt our economy and our health. Putting printed money over the natural environment is as nihilistic as it gets Bogie.

Nothing you listed is more imminent than anything I've listed. Neither are imminent threats. I'm not minimizing either or saying that there's not a crisis. But we are not under attack either. They are not attacking home depot they are standing outside of it. Is they are arrested and put in a concentration camp they go with the majority of prisoners in the United States that have not been convicted of a crime.

When these people come to the hospital it's written office charity it doesn't cost the taxpayers anything. They're not eligible for medicaid or medicare. They aren't eligible for SNAP or other public assistance programs. Don't only help they get is from the Christian church more or less. Thank God the Christian's haven't turned on the immigrants, outside evangelicals who are more of a cult.

Do you think I oppose action on climate change?

I think the problem most people have with 'climate change action' is that AOC clearly lacks the intellectual wherewithal to be a player at the table. And yet Democrats feel obligated to protect her.

Bold - Lol.

Let's accept that concern about maintaining communities and community infrastructure is warranted, and go from there.
