I don't think it was part of any plan, some journalist asked him about it and he answered, forcing it to national headlines

everything gets moved on from but this is one of the top disheartening things to see

trump telling people to go back on twitter is one thing seeing a bunch of people in red hats and kids smiling and laughing as the crowd chants send her back is a real low point

Of course it is ugly, of course it is going too far. But this was the forseeable reaction to decades of failed immigration policies which have led to cases like Ilhan Omar's.

And the only response you're getting from the other side is that any criticism of these conditions is racist, and that they are now publicly embracing open borders. It was inevitable that things would boil over sooner or later.

Yes, #AmericaDeservesBetter, but those are the only options on the table.
