I dont see a way for Democrats to win back the Senate while losing the presidential race. Doug Jones in Alabama is toast, so with a Republican VP, the Democrats would need to make up 4 Senate seats elsewhere.
Essentially, they'd need to win Arizona, Colorado, Maine and North Carolina. I really dont see that happening while Trump wins.

The shot they're obsessing over was onscreen for 4 frames, or 0.13 seconds, around the 38 second mark. The entire essay accusing Trump of misrepresenting a guy as Chinese, stems from a 0.13 second long clip of them literally in Bejing, on the trip with Hunter Biden to China that is the focus of the ad, standing in front of Chinese flags. I guess in the NYT's minds, this tenth of a second of footage required a caption explaining who Gary Locke is because viewers are both so incredibly attentive that they identify Gary Locke from a few frames of obscure footage spliced into a montage, yet draw an incorrect inference about his nationality.

I've seen splitting hairs before, but good fucking god. How did they even wind up with this article? Is the NYT literally employing someone to freezeframe and analyze every frame of every video Trump's campaign posts?

They are always looking for an excuse to write the next "Trump so racist"-story. But god forbid someone calls their reporting biased, misleading or disingenious - the shitstorm is already on the way before you finish writing/saying the words "fake news".
