Major update from Donbass. Ukraine's attack plans for LDNR have been leaked:

http://thesaker.is/donbass-war-quick-update/

Excerpt:

Quote
The secret service intelligence of the People’s Militia of the DPR has obtained a plan for a Ukrainian offensive operation against Independent Republics, which we announced earlier.

This plan of the AFU offensive operation in the Donbas was developed by the Ukrainian General Staff and approved by the decision of the NSDC in early February this year.

The purpose of the Ukrainian offensive operation is to “clean up” the territory of the People’s Republics from the Russian-speaking population, squeezing it into the territory of Russia, gaining control over the entire territory of the People’s Republics.

In accordance with the plan of the General Staff, almost all combat-ready formations and military units are involved in the offensive operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Donbas. A strike group of Ukrainian troops has already been created for aggression.

Up to FIVE days are allocated for the operation.

According to the plan of the Ukrainian strategists, on the appointed D-Day, it is planned to destroy military and civilian objects on the territory of the DPR and LPR to a depth of 10-15 km by carrying out a massive fire attack by rocket and barrel artillery of the 26, 43 and 55 artillery brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, by striking aircraft, helicopters and unmanned aerial vehicles.

The main targets for destruction are identified – command posts of the People’s Militia, civil administrations, critical infrastructure facilities of the Republics, energy and water supply, storage sites of heavy weapons defined by the Minsk Agreements.

The APU offensive is planned from three directions.

The direction of the main strike of the Ukrainian army is KRAMATORSK – DEBALTSEVE.

The strike is carried out by the forces of 30 mechanized, 17 tank and 95 airborne assault brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the support of 26 artillery brigade. The immediate task is to reach the ALCHEVSK –YENAKIYEVO border within THREE days. The further task of the grouping is to reach the border of the Russian Federation within TWO days.

With the fulfillment of the immediate task, 81 airmobile and 25 airborne brigades are planned to enter the battle for the development of the offensive.

In the Azov direction, the forces of 53 mechanized and 36 marine brigades, from the Shirokino – STAROGNATOVKA line, as well as the 501 separate Marine infantry battalion from the area of NOVOAZOVSK, with the support of the 55 artillery brigade, are planned to advance in the direction of Komsomolsk and within TWO days reach the ILOVAYSK–ULYANOVSK line, thereby fulfilling the immediate task. Further develop the offensive along the border of the Russian Federation in the direction of Krasny Luch.

The units of the 12th operational brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine will operate in the second echelon of the operational tactical group “South”.

The Aidar battalion, operating in the area of responsibility of the 53rd brigade, has the task of preventing desertion among Ukrainian soldiers.

In the Luhansk direction, it is planned to conduct limited offensive operations by the forces of 57 motorized infantry and 24 mechanized brigades, with the support of 131 separate reconnaissance units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the NOVOTOSHKOVSKOYE – POPASNAYA line in the direction of the locality of ALCHEVSK. Having blocked the Lugansk-DEBALTSEVE highway “M-30”, the operational-tactical grouping “North” should develop an offensive into the depth of the defense of the LPR in order to reach the locality of KRASNY LUCH and connect with the grouping “South”.

During the fighting, it is planned to encircle and block large settlements of DONETSK, LUGANSK, Gorlovka and ALCHEVSK.

The units of the “Right Sector” stationed in the areas of the localities of STANITSA-Luganskaya and HAPPINESS should carry out disturbing fire on the positions of the NM, support the raid and sabotage actions of the 79 brigade.

Up to 25 mobile special purpose groups of the special operations forces “West” and “East” are dispersed along the entire line of combat contact in order to shackle transport highways near the line of combat contact, conduct terrorist acts and sabotage.

The “sleeping” cells of the SBU on the territory of the Republics should carry out sabotage on highways in the depths of the territory of the republics, the liquidation and abduction of individual officials from the leadership of the republics.

Boriz Rozhin (aka Colonel Cassad) added the following commentary:

The People’s Militia of the DPR is ready to repel aggression, all military units have been put on full alert and have begun to mobilize. Interaction with the command of the People’s Militia of the Luhansk Republic is constantly maintained.

The enemy’s plans will be smashed against the defense of the defenders of the Republics. In the case of Ukrainian aggression, enemy losses will exceed the scale of failed operations in 2014-2015.

So Ukraine has planned a massive attack involving basically all of their armed forces and mechanized units.

The idea is to basically launch a blitzkrieg and achieve their goals within 5 or so operating days.

Remember the goal here for the Americans backing this operation is not for the Ukrainian army to actually win, but to force a Russian military intervention.

This they may actually succeed in - at the cost of losing their entire army.

So basically Ukraine is not only stupid, but ready to sacrifice all of their own lives for absolutely nothing in return also - other than pleasing their American masters running the show.

God damn they are stupid. Well alright then, let them pay the price for their stupidity. Hopefully LDNR can contain the assault and Russia doesn't have to intervene - it's possible, and this would be a major win for Russia - but depends heavily on the combat effectiveness of the re-armed Ukrainian army, which has been flooded with weaponry from the US and NATO in recent months.

They feel emboldened to attack, but the thing about these kind of plans is that they tend to break apart the moment you engage in real battle.

Neither do the Ukrainians gain anything by trying to seize the separatist republics. Politicians responsible will be on kill lists, and the army would be completely routed. Ukraine could mount a formidable guerilla warfare campaign, but it seems really out there that they'd choose to incite an invasion so that most could die, and the remainder could fight it out in the cities.

It would be possible for Putin to seize Kharkiv, Donbass, and Luhansk. I think that's an incredibly poor outcome for Putin, which is why I doubt there will actually be a war, but I suppose it's possible if he sees no other outcome aside from Ukraine leaving Russia's orbit.

The politicians & decision makers in that country as well as in other places like Russia and many other countries around the world don't have the people's interest in mind. I'm from eastern Europe, have distant family in Russia, wife has family in Ukraine and trust me when i say this, 90-95% of people there don't want war. But the people making the decisions don't give a fuck about lost lives, the will of the people, or even the kill lists because these are the same people that have kids at Oxford and Harvard, and I can guarantee you they've got plenty of assurances that if something ever happens they're on a plane to London or the US within hours.

Like those countries are so corrupt, everything is bought and I highly doubt that Ukraine decision makers would give offensive military orders without outside 'blessing'. I think the calculus here from our end is to push Russia into some action so we can justify the sanctions and telling the rest of the Euros 'see big bad bear to the east will aggress' therefore don't do business with them, buy more of our weapons, spend more on NATO, assume an aggressive stance towards them, etc. Domestically it also gives cause to have a pretty bloated intelligence apparatus, it gives us reason to spend more on defense than ever before, to build more bases, and so on.

Clearly reading comprehension isn't your strong suit.

Ukraine's military is gearing up to attack Donbass possibly as early as next week, having clearly abandoned the Minsk agreements to which they were a party.

Let the record show that it was the Ukrainians that attacked first. Of-course that won't stop the horde of propagandized journalists from blaming Russia.

You play with fire, you get burned. It's that simple.

Don't know why I keep having to re-explain what is happening, but sure.

This is basically what happened:

Feb. 16th came and went (the supposed original Russian invasion date), it looked like maybe things would settle for a minute. Turned out to be wrong.

The next day on the 17th, the Ukrainian army began massive preliminary shelling of DPR and LPR territory, as well as initiated some attempted sabotage operations using their special forces which resulted in light skirmishes on the outskirts of a few villages, and some deaths amongst their ranks.

By now it becomes clear that the Ukrainians have decided to attack DPR. 700 thousand people evacuate from Donbass in response, and now DPR and LPR militia forces have fully mobilized and are prepared to defend against an invasion of their territory. The threat of military action by Ukraine is now extremely high.

Unless the Ukrainians decide to call off their operation (could still happen, but it's not likely) there are only 3 scenarios which could unfold now:

1. Ukraine attacks, DPR and LPR hold back the assault without needing assistance from Russia. Both sides take serious losses but Ukraine fails to capture any territory or encircle Donetsk or Luhansk - the nightmare can than end here in this scenario once the Ukrainians realize they have no choice but to give up. Crisis over.

2. Ukraine attacks, breaks through the front line and achieves success of their initial objectives. Russia, realizing Donbass needs help, responds with long-range artillery and missile strikes on the attacking Ukrainian troop formations, but without setting any boots on the ground in Ukraine. The Ukrainians retreat and DPR/LPR recover lost territory. Crisis ends, but Biden uses it as an excuse to pass sanctions anyway.

3. Ukraine attacks, breaks through the front line and achieves major success, creating a major existential threat to Donbass and all of its inhabitants. Russia faces major internal pressure to defend against what Russia has declared a genocide of civilians in Donbass. They launch a full-on assault against the invading Ukrainian forces using a combination of air, artillery and missile strikes and deploy paratroopers on Ukrainian soil to attack from the rear and completely destroy the Ukrainian army's invasion force. Thousands of Ukrainian soldiers die in a matter of days. Russian forces then withdraw once the threat to Donbass is eliminated. This would be a devastating blow to Ukraine. This is the only scenario where Biden could claim that Russia "invaded" Ukraine, but even so, it would come only as a response to Ukraine's aggression against Donbass. Nevertheless, it would create a major political crisis and Biden's regime would be able to use it to destroy ties between Russia and Europe completely - their main objective.

My money is on either scenario #1 or #2. Whichever scenario ends up unfolding, I'm not gonna let any moronic goons blame Russia for what is undeniably Ukraine's aggression against Donbass. They are the ones threatening to start a war and they are doing this on the orders of a foreign power (Biden.) They are the ones creating a situation where Russia may have no choice but to intervene.

What Ukraine is doing is both disgusting and pathetic. Offering themselves as sacrificial offerings for Biden. And just like 2014-2015, they will take no personal responsibility for anything - while continuing to blame Russia for everything. Not a single one of their political "leaders" will take any responsibility for the deaths of their soldiers or civilians, which they caused by starting this war. Not a single one of them will console the families of dead Ukrainian soldiers - preferring to blame their own ineptitude and warmongering on Russia until the bitter end.

The faster the world awakens to Ukraine's bullshit, the better. I'm tired of watching these criminals play these disgusting games, at the cost of the lives of their own people.

Hah. Trying to explain the Ukraine crisis to someone like you would be like trying to explain calculus to a 5 year old.

You're out of your league in this thread, sorry bud.
