people do this way too often, they know they want to subtly imply connections to the holocaust, they just dont like to admit it. that is 100% the reason Hitler is used, the holocaust.

There's something deep in my bones that hates when people compare the death of millions, pits of smoldering hair and teeth, the theft of an entire culture's wealth, etc with some rednecks that carry tiki torches and sabre rattle because they lost their jobs to mexicans.

I didn't even bring up Hitler lol. I said fascism. Hitler wasn't the only fascist, and there were plenty of fascists in America.

Regardless, I have no qualms of pointing out that Trump does speak to those who genuinely would do the things you describe. We had bombs in the capitol, molotov cocktails, and picture of a guy with zip ties. We had those same people chanting "Hang Mike Pence" so you're delusional if you think that kind of thinking isn't getting fed by Trump, even if it isn't his personal goal to have that kind of thing happen, and as a direct result we were one officer keeping them away from an open door away from that group doing whatever they wanted to our senators as they confirmed our election.

So I'd actually say you just aren't taking this seriously enough. It's a damn miracle we didn't have political murders of elected representatives last week.

its been said im a centrist because i always need to be right, i dont wholly disagree but i'd phrase it that i always want to convince others of my viewpoint. The two biggest failures the parties have in the modern era is the left is intent on bringing up repeatedly that this is how Hitler got his start with the wry implication its heading our way if we dont all act now, and the right is insistent on acting like any left wing president past or near future will ever be as bad as Trump. Both are very Low IQ positions that only circle jerk one's own side.

The number of times I've heard people discuss fascism as it relates to Trump vs. Hitler as it relates to Trump is probably 99 to 1.
