For all intents and purposes he has been impeached by the House of Representatives who has no sole power to impeach the president.

If it makes you feel any better he isn't impeach yet but it is completely up to Nancy Pelosi rather or not she wants to is your alternative. In this case he is at her mercy.

Nanci is sooo scary, Id be shaking in my boots if I was trump. After being aquitted of all charges by the senate (which won't even accept the articles of impeachment) I'd point at her and laugh national TV and tell shout "YOU LOSE AGAIN!"

Lol. Buddy you are the reason I support common core in US schools.

You mean OUR schools? The use of US is bad sentence structure.

So you agree?
The Senate and the House are the SAME thing buddy. Only the house voted, which is only half of the supreme court.

The better question is you actually believe I've been serious this whole time? I think I understand why people vote democrat now.

I've been about as serious as any intelligent person takes this impeachment.

Feels like we are watching a bad movie that we already know the ending to.

Can't help but think the Dems are overplaying their political hand here, even though I think it's the right thing to do. The public support for impeachment and removal from office has waned in recent days and the past week.

I'm not even sure this really will affect the 2020 Presidential election much, given how far away 11 months is in the Trump era where politics move so quickly. Might affect some House races, especially on the Democratic side in pro-Trump areas.

538 basically has it steady for weeks. Pelosi will send the articles in January, the Senate will acquit in a sham trial, and I think Democrats will pivot to other issues. Pelosi has made clear time and time again that she doesn't want to make this the major talking point of her party going forward. Still a useful talking point for campaign ads though.

So Trump was not impeached, he was inappled or inbananad?

This is like saying a grand jury and jury are the same thing.

one accesses evidence to see if a trial is needed. the other decides the actual trial.

is there a reason you're functionally incapable of understanding simple examples even after being told 10 times or so?

a grand jury isnt a jury. the house isn't the senate. do you even know the difference between the house and senate? name 2 without googling lol.

you said something wrong, then admitted you were wrong, now you're doubling down and disagreeing with yourself. you already admitted Trump has been impeached, you just said you dont consider him impeached yet. as if what you think means anything. you even said the constitution doesnt matter. what a true patriot you are lol.

I don't know. Republicans are unified; Democrats have defectors. It's not impeachment worthy.

Is it not impeachment worthy because you don't think there's enough evidence of Trump's intent to withhold aid in order to pressure the Ukrainians to investigate Biden, or do you believe a president doing something like that should be fair game in politics?

If Trump were to say withhold military aid to Ukraine in order to pressure them to approve a Trump hotel project, would that be worthy of impeachment?
