you're acting on confirmation bias somewhat, plenty of "clinton supporters" are silently not saying a thing about the electoral college system. as many trump supporters would have entirely accepted it. The issue is when you've won you have a natural motivation to lie because there is no consequence. so even people who wouldn't have accepted it can say they would have. That's exactly the pickle HRC is in.

I'm confident Trump supporters would be way more up in arms about the EC if they lost because of it.

It fits the system is rigged narrative way too nicely.

Lets be realistic.

How would we even change the electoral college/senate seat number without rural states claiming that they aren't represented enough?

You know that no Republican would ever vote to remove the EC

a hybridized system. a change may be needed eventually if we move over to large government run farms, whole districts would have almost no votes. that could be hundreds of years tho

ya don't get me wrong, the same pickle HRC is in hardcore dems are in. they can't raise as much of a fuss because they made Trump look like shit for 2 cycles on the not accepting the results trash.

bill burr said it best, "when i see them crying, the white ones, watching the people of color cry its brutal, but when i see the white people crying i just laugh." (paraphrased)

No I'm not, just pointing out that Trump supporters would turn to that argument, and continue the "rigged" theme.

if it looked rigged trump supporters would probably say it was rigged but trump supporters wouldn't be rioting in the streets and instead would be buying guns like back with Obama

Yeah, hopefully the cost goes down now that the irrationally scared pussy ass rednecks will chill the fuck out.

You're trying to create some sort of false equivalence to make me appear like I'm being reactionary.

I support the popular vote system out of principle and have for years. I imagine Trump supporters (or die-hard Clinton supporters, for that matter) would support whichever system gave them the win.

If Clinton had won the EC but not the popular vote, I'd be just as frustrated.

Let's just say that the Alex vs Neko bet which would result in one of them leaving PaRD for good got me very excited.

I was trying to vanquish evil and make PaRD great again for everyone else, but I got BTFO.

I'm glad he was a coward about his candidate. I knew he would be.

Out of curiosity, do you want me to leave?

Nah... you're alright, but it'd be hilarious to see you leave PaRD because Neko beat you.

Yeah it would, but I'd be honored to go down fighting the good fight.
