Think ultimately for every gov't in first world countries that is, it has to be a QoL measurement for the average citizen. Problem being QoL measuring is difficult.
I see echo chambers on both sides because of the gaming communities I follow. A major trend I see is it seems both sides measure success differently.
For example, why does QoL need to be the most important metric? What about survival, winning or world dominance, etc? Sounds terrible in a moral sense, but if you're being realistic, I doubt Ukraine for example could afford to focus on QoL
