I agree that 60h a week is a little too much if out of necessity. I would happily do a 4 day week if its economically feasible but so far were settling with 5, 40-50h a week which is still better than it has been for the last centuries.

Yes "kapital" does create problems - the biggest one is called climate change / global warming,. China and Russia in addition to playing the "kapital" game are also fucking the planet and human rights even harder. Obviously Western capital is also contributing to Chinese emissions via outsourced cheap production... so yeah. Freedom is the illusion thats being sold to you. Youre not free to walk or use a bicycle in LA to get around. You need to own a car to get by in the city. You need to use money for insurance to get health care. Youre as free as your money makes you. Youre free to buy what the market decides to sell you. And when people get fatter, youre still using a lot of tax money to fund public health care on top of the private sector, which means you couldve had less taxes, but you cant because they wouldnt cover the consequences of freedom.

Freedom also means the freedom to organize, make regulations and vote for them. There can also be an idea of effective freedom. In Europe managing wealth inequality with taxes creates more effective freedom for a bigger population.
