So... you dont know if the ingerview was edited in a biased way and you just assumed it was without knowing how the full interview went. Also the fact that the world watched it and felt connected IS ABSOLUTELY A HISTORICAL CONTEXT. Youre just ignoring it because its not convenient to your desire to get offended you pansy ass snowflake.

Karl Marx thought socialism was a necessary intermediate to obtaining communism. He was effectively both.

No. Karl Marx was a socialist. He thought the final page of capitalism would always be socialism. Engels was the communist, Marx was the socialist.

The title Communist Manifesto, throws people off. Marx lays out his beliefs more so in Das Kapital.
