They do. They need to stop doubling down on this dumb idea that was a lot of fun for them to cheer for. They talk all this shit about China and then use an idea of theirs from a thousand years ago, which didn't keep the Mongols out then either.
They just won't consider better options discussed by experts. They support nepotism cabinet decisions and campaign slogans.

The guy they elected to keep these people out have them working for him right now today. They are coming here to work for guys like the current POTUS, who are paying them to risk their lives to come.
