whats ironic here is that the practice of settlements seems to me far more empathetic to people without a dog in the fight, and yet the political situation in west bank far outstrips that in gaza. so how is it where Israel's action is far worse they are closer to a solution, seemingly. the easy answer is the blockade, but that's a chicken and egg game. its needed to prevent rockets and weapons, but its existence permanently extenuates the issue. meanwhile israel takes the PR hit for it's continuance, and the state sponsored terrorists are called freedom fighters to many.
