male dominated roughneck jobs are brutal for most women

the work is one thing the environment is often times worse. Not always but most of the time

there are some jobs that will not change no matter how people try to change them

mines oil fields etc

social accountability is low when people are at a site and people outside these worlds will not change an environment like these they have to change internally and locally

where I grew up we dealt with oil workers all the time. The reality is some jobs in some areas you don't want more women in, not in reality, not because they are incapable because the environment isn't one I'd wish on a woman

Which is why feminists try to change social attitudes as a whole. Social accountability comes when more than half the people in those jobs have a feminist perspective. It's a long term fight - won't happen overnight.

there are people that want to see fawns play with wolves in the wild

and there are people that understand what happens to fawns that try to play with wolves in the wild

some of these jobs have a lot of drinking a lot of aggression a lot of drugs and not any accountability within the crew or within the county

sites are in remote areas a long way from help

takes a certain type of person to work in a job like we are discussing and that person doesn't often come with a lot of gentleman like traits

you won't change the wild you'll just feed the wolves

Instead, they should vote against the President, give their political enemies a Senate majority, and nominate far left justices to the Courts.

A president that says mean things is unacceptable, abortion isn't. Definitely exposes his priorities.

Either character matters or it doesn't.

For people who trap themselves mentally with "I can only vote for this person so the other one who 'can win' doesn't win," character doesn't matter. To them, the choice is literally vote for the "only person" who can stop "bad" or vote FOR "bad."
