air burst munitions have been used since the first World War... video shows the direction of the missile and it came from Israel, the opposite direction that Hamas was firing missiles

still doubling down i see. even the media that made you believe it have abandoned blaming israel. yet you're still there. even parotting the baseless air burst munitions propaganda furthered by Al Jahzeera and others.

starting to sound like flat earthers, as evidence debunks claims they just find whole new solutions to make it sound real. just take the L (you cant lmao)

I have difficulty accepting the idea that "Israel is 100% open to a peaceful two-state solution" given Israel's occupation of The West Bank--particularly when looking at H1 and H2 in Hebron. Massive displacement of Palestinian people, destruction of their homes, vast surveillance states, travel restrictions, and use of check-points and IDF-protected acts of violence against them. Huge violations of international law that no state/entity of people would accept being on the receiving end of, yet the international community is largely silent on this issue, and worse, continues to fund Israel.

a 2 state solution that includes west bank would require a far greater buffer zone than the current border. west bank has part of Jerusalem and is "too close for comfort". i dont support settlement policy, at all, but to apply this in a one to one with Gaza isn't really accurate.

this is shown pretty clearly in reality, where in the west bank small scale violence takes place and the govt of the west bank and israel deal with issues fairly diplomatically. as compared to gaza where israel doesnt have any diplomatic relationship and rocket fire and terror tunnels are the mainstay.

on that same token we cant overlook the fact that a 2 state solution with 1 govt in charge of both gaza and west bank isnt currently possible. west bank couldnt possibly hope to rein in hamas, before or after oct 7th.

I very much view Gaza and The West Bank as separate issues, although connected via a broader struggle. I still maintain that the region is a geographical nightmare, given that there is no contiguous Palestine that could be had given the current borders. The world is entertaining a two-state solution for a three-party region.

I do think invoking The West Bank is relevant to the situation in Gaza, because for the current time, Hamas is the teeth of the region that prevents the lopsided "diplomacy" that is happening in The West Bank.

a 2-state solution is done with human beings you can speak with. the first step is to root out and vaporize or bury alive in those tunnels any Hamas leaders and active soldiers ( i.e terrorists ).

after it's done, statesmen\politicians\IDF veterans.. some will have to go and take the blame for this entire neglect of the south border. they are fully responsible.

thing is, and i stated it earlier, the public opinion inside Israel is something else now. only from the inside you can feel and actually see it, im saying it because this is our wake up call.
no one here will ever allow Gaza to be what it was, nor do the northern border ( if not now, in the future ahead ).

when human beings on the other side will accept Israel talks can take place.

its for sure a situation that should be called a 3 state solution, but at the same time the west bank and gaza are at the behest of Iran and Qatar and others. so it's more like a 5 or 6 state solution.

that said if Israel could find a situation that puts gaza entirely out of their control, as a self governing state, and be assured in this situation that rockets wont continually be fired at them and tunnels wont spit out dozens of insurgents they'd be all for it.

whats ironic here is that the practice of settlements seems to me far more empathetic to people without a dog in the fight, and yet the political situation in west bank far outstrips that in gaza. so how is it where Israel's action is far worse they are closer to a solution, seemingly. the easy answer is the blockade, but that's a chicken and egg game. its needed to prevent rockets and weapons, but its existence permanently extenuates the issue. meanwhile israel takes the PR hit for it's continuance, and the state sponsored terrorists are called freedom fighters to many.

most people understand that their own gov brought them over as vote banks to retain power. the average citizen gets the shaft as always.

Do most people understand that or are you once again just saying things that feel good in your tummy?

I lol'd at this thanks pal

Someone gives a thorough response on the INTERNET where your not face to face and can't observe the seriousness/sarcasm/context of the person you are talking too and your response is......

"Haha wow what a fucking idiot"

These are your friends/family in real life who say, "Yea let's talk about this since we disagree" and then 2 seconds later they "check their phone" / "bob their head up and down in agreement but don't actually agree"/ say things like "yea you are totally right" but then never comment on what you actually said and then as soon as theirs a window of opportunity to get out of the conversation entirely they take it. Too funny man thanks ^Dizzybusiness screenshotted what you said and sent it to my cousins snap group with the caption: "family member most likely to do this at the next fam party". I'm not making fun of you personally just what you said half my family and friends do the same damn thing..

I think your delivery could be a bit more terse.

This “rightoid” would start dumping hollow tips the second they reached for my car door. You do not have the right to block a major roadway. Where I live you lose your right to stay alive as soon as you become physically aggressive.

It still blows my mind how entitled these people feel to act like this towards regular people simply trying to get from point a to point b.

Lmao yeah this is what I meant by "foaming at the mouth" thank you for being exhibit A though.

i for one am just shocked that "peaceful protests" all across the globe are turning violent in favor of hamas. wait i mean palestine. wait i mean gaza. im starting to get confused. cries for a ceasefire turn into chants for jihad. the rallying cry is from river to sea, palestine will be free. and those jews will just all leave with no violence.

but hey to anyone who knew better its no shock. violence against israel IS popular in gaza and it's supporters. a ceasefire isnt what they wanted, they've always been fine with rockets streaming into the dome. israel capitulates and allows water south into safe zones, allows aid into the south, etc. and people stay in the north.

"Starting" to get confused eh? When weren't you exactly?

I think Israel gets pointed to by Palestinian supporters in the way that it does because Israel vastly out-powers the Palestinians, and especially Gaza. Supporters of Israel often talk about how Israel is a state but that there "has never been a Palestinian state". If we lean into that argument, then being "a state" comes with certain responsibilities, expectations, and calls for accountability. If you can't handle the heat, stay out of the kitchen.
