Boomers said they wanted jobs, and they might have been sincere, but they are the entitlememt generation at this point. They all seem to think that goveremt health insurance pays your rent in assisted livings and nursing homes and most don't have shit for savings because of this. I don't know what they've done with their jobs but literally sit at the same one for 30 years and not grow and not face problems that can't be shopped away and expect to be taken care of because "they've done everything right ".

There's no question that boomers are responsible for letting the ship drift off course. The disappointment is that the next generation doesn't want to get the ship back on the old course.

There's been an argument that the center-left and left did not accept that results of Trump's election in 2016, and it's true that some thought he was an illegitimate president, or that there was an asterisk beside his win. Of course, the whataboutism argument is mostly a distraction but I want to deal with this particular one.

The important difference is that most of the arguments centered on things that actually happened. Russia interfered in our election, and Trump and his campaign welcomed the interference. Comey broke norms by having the press conference trashing Clinton, and then reopening the investigation publicly late in the game, and then closing it publicly late in the game. And then there were obvious criticisms about the electoral college.

The point being, most of the arguments were based in reality. You can disagree with them, but there were actual facts behind them. Today, most of the arguments from Trump and Republicans on how this election is being stolen or rigged are not based in reality whatsoever.

Nice try you filthy privileged pasty election denier

The only way to do this election fairly is to have rush limbaugh and sean hannity hand count all the votes in the country behind closed doors so that the loberal media cant get involved

We had a multi-year investigation into the president for "collusion" based largely on golden shower pee-tapes that were known to be both not credible and likely Russian disinformation. Suffice to say that nothing about the Russiagate saga was normal, and to a large degree has affected how Trump's supporters look at these election results. I happen to disagree with them, but it's not difficult to see where the broken trust stems from.

Hello fellow canadian. Who do you plan on voting for in the next election? I can't decide between trudeau and singh.

Better literally corrupt Trudeau than NDP.

no they were just a bit less fluffy sheep. there's nothing about walking to the same coal mine for a 12 hour shift that your dad died in that makes u a dog.

in the broadest sense, every human is mainly a sheep because we can only be products of our environment

But on a level that matches the context of what we were talking about, there is a fundamental difference between the generations. There was a time when it was common belief that people should only get what they earn. Those who didn't earn went without.

There's a shift away from that now. The 2016 election was the last hurrah for the old generation. We've crossed a threshold.

thats true, but important to note that what we "earn" is no longer valid. robots carry the weight. and as most of those robots are subsidized by the american tax payer via rnd write offs we deserve a portion of their earnings.

resistance of the automated future is beyond futile. those against it should work to bolster their own skills to become self reliant. vegetable/fruit farming, animal husbandry and processing, food storage, mechanical knowhow, etc. You must simply work to be free in the future, freedom wont be a right.

That's because people are too stupid to unite and fight. They are too busy arguing bout what's the name of the invisible man in the sky. Which skin color is the best. They're too busy arguing who's the best at COD or any other video games.

Then you have people who's addicted to mainstream media and make it their source of knowledge and then try to teach you what's what.

What the people needed to resist it was civil wars around the world and unite against Tyranny. Instead, people are too fucking lazy to lift their fingers and willing to give all their freedom away thinking nothing will happen to them until it's too late and these low iq people wonder why it all happened.

Just look at how many people voted for that man who love smelling young girls hair and women hair . Or how people let China fuck Hong Kong and all other similar problems. Instead of all uniting and doing something bout it, most people support Hong Kong online without understanding that the online world =/= IRL.

Smh
