i for one am just shocked that "peaceful protests" all across the globe are turning violent in favor of hamas. wait i mean palestine. wait i mean gaza. im starting to get confused. cries for a ceasefire turn into chants for jihad. the rallying cry is from river to sea, palestine will be free. and those jews will just all leave with no violence.

but hey to anyone who knew better its no shock. violence against israel IS popular in gaza and it's supporters. a ceasefire isnt what they wanted, they've always been fine with rockets streaming into the dome. israel capitulates and allows water south into safe zones, allows aid into the south, etc. and people stay in the north.

"We don't hate Jewish people, we are criticizing the Israeli state!"

"Now let's go burn down that synagogue!"

Hamas now claiming the HOSPITAL DESTROYING BOMB which didnt in fact destroy said hospital or even leave a crater, "vaporized into dust". while that explains why it didnt leave a crater, its not actually the rocket from hamas which would do exactly what we saw, its actually a whole new kind of weapon never before or since seen on the battle field. flies in, leaves only a small blast radius, kills 500 people, then leaves no trace. totally not a rocket tho, couldnt have been hamas.

you don't get it, it's "different" because it's just pro-active ethnic cleansing. the simply HAVE to do it to prevent it from being done to them. *wink wink*

seriously though, it's the same apartheid logic that got exposed as the obvious lie it was in south africa, the same kind of reasoning so many other regimes used in order to justify their atrocities...

Indeed, it is a very interesting dynamic that in many ways the end-game for both Hamas and Israeli leadership is the same: Cleanse the area of the 'other'. Israeli leadership hides behind the idea that they're "not as barbaric as Hamas", but yet they're engaging in behaviors that result in much the same outcome for the region.

israel is 100% open to a peaceful 2 state solution, the same can not be said for hamas or the gazan population who supports them. and even if we put that number at ONLY 30% that's like 1 million people.

we're going on 20 years since Israel ceded the land of Gaza, and hasn't had an active occupation of the area. they spend ungodly amounts of money blockading the area, occupying the border, repelling rockets, and providing water and electricity to the region. if Palestine rose up as a peaceful self governing region they'd have only positives.

the only thing to counter this is "well yeah but israel wants every last scap of land so badly that they'll murder over 2 million people just to get it" which seems silly at best.

israel gains very little by cleansing gaza, it just shifts where they have problems from. if gaza were cleansed we'd see a rise in tensions with lebanon, jordan, egypt, syria, etc.

air burst munitions have been used since the first World War... video shows the direction of the missile and it came from Israel, the opposite direction that Hamas was firing missiles

I have difficulty accepting the idea that "Israel is 100% open to a peaceful two-state solution" given Israel's occupation of The West Bank--particularly when looking at H1 and H2 in Hebron. Massive displacement of Palestinian people, destruction of their homes, vast surveillance states, travel restrictions, and use of check-points and IDF-protected acts of violence against them. Huge violations of international law that no state/entity of people would accept being on the receiving end of, yet the international community is largely silent on this issue, and worse, continues to fund Israel.
