the reality is that there is infinitely more money in men's soccer than women's. usually, demanding equal pay when the association makes much less money from the women's world cup than from the men's is just not realistic.

now, the US soccer teams might be the exception to the rule, since their women's team is the best in the world, while their men's team sucks in obscurity. but even then, one should first look at the revenue difference before jumping to conclusions about "unfair pay".
if the women's soccer team indeed generates revenue for their federation which is comparable to that generated by their male counterparts, then (and only then) they should receive equal pay.

Tbh NT payment for EC/WC wins etc. should be the same for both genders. It's a pittance compared to club wages anyways.
