That is false. Israel founded themselves. You really should go back and reread the founding of Israel. They were a nation, and they were already defending themselves prior to being recognized. Further, the only reason "Palestine" is a thing, is because the French-owned portion of the Israeli territories was called "Palestine" as an ode to history. The British-owned was referred to as Israel. They named THEMSELVES an independent nation, and promptly attacked the Brits when they tried to say otherwise. Looks like I might be eating my words already when I said I thought Conservative MPs wouldn’t join the independent group. Obviously they haven’t agreed on policies and aren’t a party yet and the Conservative leavers still said they’ll support the government on the economy etc
