i agree with this.. i mean sure, one can say that hes an agnostic and remove himself from the debate. i dont know, i dont wanna get involved. fine. but atheism is a completely different thing because people dont seem to understand that a negative statement, unlike lack of statement, does have its consequences. science (and common logic) states that its either creationism or parallel universes. so atheism is pretty much like two people flipping a coin, where the creationist says "its gonna be heads", and the atheist is like "naah, no way its gonna be heads"; "so its gonna be tails you mean?"; "im not saying its gonna be tails, just that no way its heads"; "umm yes you kinda are"; and this is usually where the debate turns into pure semantics without anything new being said. so what a smart atheist should do is, 1) realize you arent above the debate, but a part of it, and 2) try to hold your position but without ignoring science. atheism is like farting in a room and running out so other people smell your fart while you are on safe distance
oh and the worst part is atheists saying how they are unbiased. and then they come up with the "simulation theory", which is not only creationist by nature, but doesnt even explain anything about the nature of the universe as unlike the god theory, something had to create the simulator etc. basically atheists are now accepting and even literally cheering the weakest and most useless of creationist theories
you have style, made me smile
