He vows to crack down on the protesters with force. He will not make any concessions, he will not permit them to continue protesting. He is signing an emergency declaration to give himself emergency powers, saying protesters can be mass arrested, jailed for a year and fined $100,000, have their trucks seized and personal and commercial licenses revoked. This comes on top of trying to seize the millions of dollars in fundraising for the protesters. He maintains that he does not control the police force and will leave it up to the OPP to take action, but has declared he intends to end the protests by force in a crackdown, not by meeting demands or waiting it out.
So here we are. The major events have been a car ramming attack on some protesters by Antifa, and the protesters shutting down the international bridge. The Canadian government has chosen to take the draconian, authoritarian response to crush the protests by force.
Maybe when Doug Ford leaves office he'll retire to a nice little cottage in Bejing

If these protesters lived somewhere like China they would have all been executed a week ago. Thankfully they live in a free country like Canada where 99% of the world is laughing at these morons shitting in the streets.
