The counter to my post is that Fauci did some things wrong, he admitted to lying for the greater good, etc. My response would be that public health officials always get some things wrong, particularly when dealing with a new virus. And officials slanting the messaging to influence public behavior is kind of normal. And nutters have made him a scapegoat for every seemingly bad decision the past few years regarding COVID-19, even though his authority was pretty limited. Trump was the one who kept Fauci in his position.

I'll add a small caveat. Even though the Fauci hatred is 99% nutter territory, the man should have left the public scene several months ago because his presence has not been beneficial for public health messaging. Not because of his own actions, but because the right-wing in this country is crazy.

China should sell the $870 Billions of US Treasury Bonds and buy thousands of tons of Gold and Silver. Their prices will rise exponentially while the US dollar index will plummet to below 70. Then the BRICS countries should back their common currencies with Gold and/or Silver. The US dollar backed by nothing but thin air will lose its status as the World Reserve Currency.

When that happens the Empire of Lies will be as poor as the Ukraine.
