This is all nice-sounding but everything in my adult experience has taught me otherwise. People are at their core tribal, especially non-whites in America who largely identify with their race, while whites largely don't. I completely agree that black communities have been destroyed, but it's the welfare state that you need to also acknowledge. They used to have stronger family values and lower divorce rates than whites. Now, a strong and intact black family is the exception rather than the rule and that is very unfortunate. How you want black Americans to continue being slaves to the system is beyond me. Well, not really, you admitted you're white, and white leftists have thrived off owning black Americans for centuries.
The lifestyle we have now being attributed solely to "cheap labor and exotic food" is just puerile nonsense and doesn't deserve much rebuttal.
The big problem here is that lefties like Thor don't know what racism means anymore.
It used to mean that you have no respect for someone's dignity based solely on observable non-fungible characteristics like skin-color.
Now racism just means "anything I don't like".
