Pretty much everything. The business model of the company is that the products you work with are highly hazardous so they lie to new employees and downplay the risks. They hire people without any experience because those are the least likely to raise any alarm or realize what is going on. They use new employees because they are more pliable to the upper management as well.
Then there are the actual risks. These types of products made were banned under George Bush, and understandably so because they have to capacity to do horrendous things. Viral vectors can infect you with incurable disease, chemically sterilize you, and put oncogenes (cancer causing genes) into your DNA permanently. Which is terrifying because not only could you face serious health problems, so could all of your children. They actually have an incentive to poison people as well because they use the viral vectors to make cancer treatments so they are increasing their market share.
The same viral manipulations were probably responsible for creating the coronavirus in china.
Tl;dr tell all of your friends and relatives to never work for pharmaceutical companies. Their current state is a complete shit show.

Yikes, that really sounds like a nightmare.
Gonna give some context here
1. Viral vectors are used all over biology as a matter of routine experimentation. I use them probably monthly to generate cell lines that express nuclear dye, or to knock down enzymes that have signaling functions. All of the cell lines I use are human-derived. As far as I know there haven't been any studies that show exposure to these viruses increases your chance of developing cancer.
2. Technically, any time you have a viral infection you will have an increased chance of developing cancer. If the virus inserts it's genome into your cell at a place that breaks a growth-regulating gene, that has a chance of developing into cancer. However, if you have an in-tact immune system your body will destroy the infected cell. You probably get infected with thousands of viruses a day, but your body is great at cleaning them up. There's a reason why really infectious viruses are somewhat rare, we have a whole section of our immune system dedicated just to destroying virus-infected cells.
3. The only way your kids will get cancer from a virus is if it specifically infects your egg or sperm cells. Nothing else is inherited. There is currently no evidence that working with these viruses leads to sterility or inherited cancers.
4. It's absolutely bullshit to say that "the same viral mutations probably caused Covid in China." This is pure bullshit. The whole "virus lab right next to the wet market" conspiracy has been debunked six ways to Sunday.
5. The ban under Bush was because a child with a terminal cancer received an experimental treatment as a last resort and started producing ammonia, which made his blood basic and killed him. The moratorium on viral vector research was definitely an over-reaction.
6. New employees are cheap. That's why they hire them. Not because of some conspiracy about health risks.
And lastly
7. Pharma companies are companies. They are just as evil as any other, and fundamentally interested in money above all else. If that means hiding risks from workers, that's what they will do. If that means hiding risks from patients, that's what they will do. If that means firing an employee who wants to blow the whistle on a harmful practice, that's what they will do. I'm providing context, not saying pharma companies are saints.
