He is right (maybe). Pretty sure you have to stand to the Senate and announce it for them to decide. I think this person is probably right.

I can see Pelosi doing it because it would be a large rebuke of the Senate as a body incapable of being objective and being essential cucks. Who is going to argue that the senate GOP are not cucks at this point? They are dying on a hill for a guy who has nothing but contempt for them. He has even doxxed them.

The process was going to fail, he could be impeached without the benefit of senate exoneration, which would make Pelosi a mastermind...but I don't know if that is the case.

Its law, so it is an art that is interpreted. Legal terms are literally called terms of art acknowledging this.

What's interesting about Trump is that the right has been alleging bias in the media for decades. There was always a pretence of impartiality that has now been dispensed with.

Depends on media. Nobody was pretending cable news was impartial except cable news people...and the fish can't see the water. BBC and local news stations, 60 minutes, older broadcast news stations aren't as hyperbolic and hyperventilating as cable news. Cable news has to pretend there is something political to talk about for 24 hours a day as a context to sell ads. I am going to out an emphasis on the fact that the cable news stations are commercial products with targeted audiences whose purpose is to sell ad space, creating value for shareholders. They aren't supposed to tell the truth if the truth isn't profitable...this is Capitalist Ethics. I agree that capitalism kind of sucks and seems as inescapable as the divine right of kings must have felt. Pick a product and consume. Taste and savor it.

For all intents and purposes he has been impeached by the House of Representatives who has no sole power to impeach the president.

If it makes you feel any better he isn't impeach yet but it is completely up to Nancy Pelosi rather or not she wants to is your alternative. In this case he is at her mercy.
