He is crying about Trump bragging about that NK is no longer a nuclear threat, the implicit meaning is that it happened thanks to him. This is textbook Trump just bragging, and i said most sensible people see that in reality it's just bragging not some sweeping policy change. There's no need to take some derivative of this meaning and talk about "ZOMFG Trump is giving KIM exactly what he wants!!!! Drumpf Bad!!!" when it's just Trump being Trump on twitter.

1.) Icemage is saying the exact same things Ben Shapiro has been saying on the issue (see yesterday's show where he looks at everything from individual statements to flag placements), liberals amirite?

Nobody is crying... I'm expressing bewilderment at the president's words because they don't make any strategic sense.

Do you think Chinese, Japanese, North Korean and South Korean officials use the same decipher code as you to determine whether Trump's statements are serious or not? Cause this statement surely doesn't jive with a maximum pressure campaign. There's good will gestures, and then there's this.

I really don't know.

The statement Kim and Trump signed had no binding language. None of us know exactly what was said between them.

But if North Korea doesn't denuclearize, I'm not sure how any of this the rhetoric helps us. It probably hurts us.

As you are aware, Trump is the devil reincarnate who is related to Hitler and eats babies for dinner with his McDonalds while watching shark week.

You could change Trump to any "republican" and a good portion of pard would think the same thing. It's not really the person, it's just the label.

just what i'd expect from a person who joined the sub during the election, lol.

there was a time when the sub was far less partisan. u still saw some partisan mudslinging, but WAY less. i expect it to go back that way a bit in 2024, but we'll see if the GOP puts up a trump clone.
