The guy who was just sworn in was sentenced two consecutive 12 year sentences for a total of 24 years, somehow got released from prison and ran for president while having three more pending criminal cases against him.

I’d probably riot too if a dude sentenced to 24 years for political corruption was just elected president.

Was he given a fair trial?

I’m guessing you are an expert on the Brazilian court system and political corruption scandals to add to your extremely wide spectrum of expertise…..

So you now tolerate a criminal convicted of corruption and money laundering cuz he's a lefty?

Your true colors are showing

you are neither a smart nor an honest person. i literally said "lula is incredibly popular with a large part of brazilians". how could you have posibly misread that so badly, lol?

that said, a corrupt socialist is still better than a corrupt fascist, but obviously corruption is bad - not that an american right winger has any leg to stand on lecturing about this issue...

polls dont mean shit, when people like you do them

remember when hillary was 10+ points ahead and had an over 90 something per cent win probability? clearly an attempt to demobilise trump supporters

i stick with the facts and winning like this straight out of prison against a sitting president with a decent economy (all things considered) is fishy at best

i get it, representative polls conducted by multiple sources across the political spectrum all pointing to an outcome that eventually happened mean nothing, while your feelings towards a fellow fascist and an ignorant take on who a majority of brazilians really support mean everything. anti-intellectualism in a nutshell.

i guess nelson mandela's presidency was also fishy because he was in prison before. actually, i said that to illustrate how absurd your "argument", trying to suggest lula somehow "stole" the election, is - but you're probably a huge apartheid fan and actually believe that...

If the people on that building were lefties, you and your ilk would call them peaceful protesters. Curb your faux outrage, lol

Talking about dishonesty

no, i'm saying that your "argument" is shit and defies the realities of brazilian politics. lula is incredibly popular there and was expected to win. the fact that he served a prison sentence didn't change that, and representative polling throughout the political spectrum proves that.

but again, don't let these facts distract you from your little conspiracy, ampoo. maybe licking bolsonaro's fascist boots will finally give you the strong man you so desperately want in your life - if you can find the coward, lol.
