Sir. Politely. I am assuming this is a conversation between adults. If you are unaware that many minors have sex lives you are completely and utterly clueless on this issue... There's 8 billion people on the planet and we can do simple math based upon people's birth days to figure out that there's actually a huge amount of people (usually this starts around 16) then clearly had sex as a minor because they are a parent that has children that have been documented through the birth certificate system.

Please explain to me how what you do is different or better?

It is a lawsuit brought by conservative activists. I'm confident that the people involved will admit that after they get their "court win" like they usually do. There is a big trend by conservatives to use the judicial system to attack the law. Again, nothing new here.

Oh I've been to Texas and I'm 100% sure it's happening somewhere in that state... You can pretend like the people there are angels all you want, but the white "Christians" I saw there made a regular habit of breaking every law they didn't like.

When I make a topic I don’t lie about the articles I post knowing most people will read the title and respond to that. You should take my response (accurately summarizing what you are talking about) and remake the topic. Everybody will say, “okay so?” Like they usually do when you make these dumb topics.

You are a tribal disingenuous dirtball dude. There is no, “sir, politely” when you open the topic by saying people like me want everybody to be gay and no kids have access to condoms. You don’t even know what the argument is, and you only come on this website to lie about people who vote differently than you, then pretend to be interested in a real conversation.

No, no politely anything. Make a genuine attempt at a discussion about something you don’t understand and I will entertain that, much like my response to metalwise.

The contraception argument is not really about contraception.

When pro abortion and debauchery supporters say the right wants to “ban contraceptives” they are referring to morning after pills. Nobody ever says that because that doesn’t make people sound like religious freaks. The argument is solely about drugs designed to end a pregnancy after conception. If you believe conception is where life begins, there is a huge problem here.

Sorry if I am coming off a little harsh but seriously this is the framing. Conservatives have a different view on when life begins. Therefore they don’t want people to have access to what they deem “abortion pills”. Therefore they want fourteen year olds to be forced to breed. It is a disgusting fucking argument.

If people on the other side would just say, “anti abortion supporters want to ban the morning after pill based on their belief of where life begins” there is absolutely zero problem and many would actually agree.

Because American politics is a cesspool of scumbags and we are not allowed to have remotely honest conversations about abortion, idiots like OP are told that conservatives don’t want teens to access condoms and they believe it.

Some of what you say I agree to but.. there are people who want to ban all contraceptives on the right especially Christian nut jobs

If you guys want a good read about the case...

You put way too much thought into this. I see it on DrudgeReport/Twitter and I copy/paste it here after making up a headline because they don't normally fit.

Dude I've already been personally insulted like 50+ times in this forum. Do you think I care? I played video games for years and was called every cuss word imaginable. Some people even made up words and called me them. If you play games like Rust that have in game voice chat you become completely desensitized to stuff like this.

No I am being polite. You picked a really silly talking point and rather than you trying to argue it and deal with, I will just stop you before we start Googling the statistics and pointing out things like getting married at 12 was at one point in world history was considered "normal."

You will always be able to find somebody who believes something. Muslims feel very similarly to Christian’s on the sex topics but nobody ever targets the Muslims like this. When people say “Christian’s want women to x” and don’t even mention Muslims, it is just disingenuous. Muslims’ treatment of women is fucking horrible and it happens in the United States. For some reason it is rural Texans who get shit on when one trip to Deerborn Mi will show you horrors you couldn’t fathom in this country.

At the end of the day, condoms will be sold at every gas station, supermarket, and pharmacy. That is not going to change. There will never be a judge who, on this planet, will swing a gavel and ban condoms. I can see how extreme thinking and rabbit holes or whatever can lead you to see this happening but take a moment and put your feet on the floor.

No judge even has the power to ban contraceptives.
No law makers will ever pass a bill to ban contraceptives.

There is an extremely small chance that maybe some extremely rural area will make some local law making it harder to access something. Like for instance putting an 18 or older for condoms or something. Again I don’t see this ever happening but say it does on the local level. Store clerks will still sell them to whoever because literally nobody, including myself, will agree with it. Folks could go to the next town over and stock up on condoms.

I live in a dry county. That doesn’t mean beer is illegal and I’m going to the gulag for drinking on my property. I purchase my beer on the way home when I come back from work. Same deal. Prohibition still exists at an extreme local level.

Its interesting you only mention condoms and not birth control

Condoms yes will still be available everywhere no matter where you go that point is true but birth control is something more which this who thing is pretty much about

Girls who are minors should be able to have access to birth control after they have had there first period. Nowadays the age is getting younger and younger due to whats being put into foods and drinks

I have a minor of my own and thankfully not at this stage at this moment

Now an interesting question...

Would this even be a case if the parent had boys instead??

Birth control borders on parental rights much like this case, where little kids can access things without consent. That being said there are no legitimate claims to ban birth control. Just like my last post on the extremely slim chance that ever happens it will be at an extremely local level. I bring you again to my comparison to dry counties, of which I live in. You drive for ten minutes, purchase your goods, and drive ten minutes back home. Thirty minutes if you are far off the main road.
