Once Jerusalem and what has historically been Jewish land goes back to the Jews and the surrounding Muslims accept that, then we can finally have peace. People suffer from recency bias. It's like everyone forgot that half a dozen way larger and more populous Muslim states got together and wanted to literally wipe out the Jews a few generations ago. Not once but several times.

Now that the surrounding Muslims got their ass handed to them several times in the wars they adopted the victim card.

Israel has been on the Muslim "must eradicate" list for millennia.

IF at any modern time, this doesn't seem to be the case... it just a lull in the game.
