If these guys wallow in their misery and self-pity and adopt a misogynic and highly unattractive mindset in the process, they eliminate themselves from the dating market and thus reduce the competition (no matter how marginally) for the remaining, "normal" men. To be honest, from a selfish perspective, I'm perfectly fine with that.

The tldr is relatively simple and obvious: online dating puts a lot of focus on visible or quantifiable traits like looks, height, income and deemphasizes intangible qualities like charm, charisma, game or empathy. It is a disadvantageous playing field for physically subpar men.
