You should start with honestly presenting information. This thread is doomed from me engaging on basically any level due to how you lied in the title and OP. I am just going to try and get you to admit you manipulated numbers to lie about a topic that was probably bad enough where you could have simply presented the truth and proven your point.

I just copied the title and took some words out. If I misrepresenting something, it's only because the story I first read was on some lefty site like DailyBeast or something and I tried to find a less biased source. The wording of the other source definitely tried to paint it as something that keeps happening. To be clear, I found out about the story on either Reddit or DrudgeReport, I'm not a regular reader of that site or anything.

You used 1/4 of a sentence from the article to fabricate false numbers to fabricate the entire premise of this thread, which is the false assertion that 1/4 of all priests in Maryland are pedophiles.

You chose to use the words “caught being” instead of “accused of being” in the title.

This is actually more believable, being an accusation from 50 years ago rather than accusations going back 80 years. Neither can or will ever be proven but the headline is there.
