It explains some of the issues, but doesn't exactly justify why its THIS slow.
We're 2 days after the election and they've barely released any numbers in like 24 hours.

The process is checked by both parties, should be alright no ?

They marketed it as a red wave crashing into the country, it was more... a red dusting

an actual reverend btw. yet for some reason, 88% of evangelicals voted for a serial adulterer, a guy who made several women abort his potential offspring. a very principled bunch...

The House is fixing to flip to red. I believe those that voted for the libertarian candidate in GA will end up holding their nose and vote for Walker rather than Warnock turning the Senate red. Not quiet the wave I would have liked, but I'm hoping the party units behind Ron Desantis in 2024

The republicans won this election if you look at it that way. House of Representatives is now majority Republican. I don’t understand the celebration by democrat voters. It isn’t as bad as was predicted but they still lost numbers, and a majority. Senate race is still being counted but in reality the democrats will win those races.

GENERIC NATIONAL HOUSE VOTE

DEMOCRATIC VOTE
46,150,031
46.4%

REPUBLICAN VOTE
51,332,616
Republicans +5.2
51.6%

Not a bad result, all things considering, and slightly above where the generic congressional ballot had Republicans placed.
