I just got a muskox tag not long ago, its just such a bitch to quarter one up at -40C in the breeze. Maybe ill try this weekend.

Plus a bull is like 900 pounds if you ethically take an older one thats passed on its genes already.

Makes it easier to blow a few hundred dollars of ammo very quickly. I wouldn’t say more fun but definitely more satisfying hitting a target at 400+ yards with a bolt.

Its over 2 bucks a round for .30-06, closer to 3 bucks now. I hate having to resight things after smashing it on the ATV all summer long and burning through unnecessary shots.
