I agree that employers can set conditions when they hire someone, but mandatory COVID-19 vaccination was not part of their work contract. The employer in this case being the government of Canada, I think it sets an uncomfortable precedent.

Not when it was announced they would lose their jobs for refusing the vaccine. That 300M sample might prove it helps reducing the severity of the disease or that it doesn’t pose an undue risk but there is yet to be conclusive evidence that the vaccine helps in stopping the spread of the disease. You wouldn’t contradict Pfizer and the Science™ now would you?

Don’t lump me in with people disparaging their own country at every opportunity. I’m just saying I don’t agree with the way vaccination for federal employees was handled.

I used to make $14 an hour more than the starting wage at McDicks, now it's $9 eventually it'll be at par, no ladder left to climb. no incentive beyond allegiance to the state. utopia right?
