We all ultimately agree on the same thing, we just have differences of opinion of what's worse. Immediate death or a prolonged agony.

Outside of a prison employee or other prisoner Nikolas Cruz will not be a threat to anyone else ever again. While I would prefer to see the death sentence I am perfectly OK with life without parole. I feel for the survivors and family/friends of victims and I hope this marks some closure for them and they can start to heal.

Pretty sure he "signed up" for a life in prison by taking the actions he did. Just pointing out that "amenities" like room and board are really quite basic, and it's the quality of life that suffers. Dude's gonna have to suck dick for ramen money.

crazy! i actually knew a similar guy. i was bailing hay and some random 40 year old dude was working with me, i asked him what he does for work usually and he says "cash work, its all i can get". so i asked why, he just got out of a 15 year prison sentence. a family friend molested his niece but DA declined charges because evidence was lacking. so he kidnapped the guy and repeatedly shot him with a BB gun while he was strapped to a chair on camera to coerce a confession. dude confessed, but obviously didnt make the DA charge, and guy went to prison. had zero regrets. never verified by looking it up but dude sounded like he was telling the truth.

Crazy stuff but people can do crazy things when they perceive a denial of justice from the system.
