We should be looking at 3+ generation.

What you are seeing is immigrants who are well off enough to come to the USA and get an education and comparing that to the average white person. It's class privilege outweighing minority disprivilege.

Class privilege is definitely a thing, but so is racial privilege.

So because someone wouldn't trade their white skin for a different color means they know they're privileged?
That's one way to think about it.

How about this way though.
They know if their skin color was different their family members would be different people. Therefore they don't want to "trade" their skin color because they like their family?
They like who they are as a person and wouldn't change their lives.
This doesn't make them racist or privileged.

I won't even bring up the fact that if you ask minorities this question who are comfortable in their skin. They won't change their skin color either. They're PROUD of their skin color in spite of the possible challenges it presents to them.
