Ukraine will win this war. Russia cannot afford it
There's so much more passion in defending your nation than invading a nation because a little manlet told you to invade one.
After Ukraines victory Putin will look even more foolish and he will soon become the past.

That leads me to a new question .. what happens when Putin dies of either old age, illness or assassination? Is it random who will take over? Will it be better or worse? I mean, the people in Russia should start to make some changes to get things better. I completely affirm people want to keep their culture, i don't want every nation to become americanized. But is holding onto dictatoriship and police state something really worth doing ...

That depends. If Boris Yeltsin was still alive and president of Russia there would be no war in Ukraine but laughs at the white house. (And a little too much drinking)
There would be less hostility both ways, up & down and god would help unite people of east, west, south and the north.
We can tell time but not it's future actions nor hostilities, we can try to predict it though.

Russia hasn't mobilized the majority of their armed forces. That may be ending, since a lot of apoplectic Russians are blaming the one-hand-tied-behind-their-back nature of this Russian strategy for Ukraine's recent advances.

Ukraine triumphalists don't seem to get that Russia has been very reserved, so far. No strategic bombing, no attacks on political structures, no bombing of core infrastructure (power plants, sewage plants, water pumps, etc). They have a lot of room to adjust their commitments in Ukraine, that's just a fact.

This is patently false.

Putin will look even more foolish.

That will exactly be the point of time when he either will mobilise (which may make look him incompetent in the eyes of his voters) or he will use nukes (which will make him look even worse in the west, but probably won't change how he is perceived by his supporters). Depending on how the nato/china reacts it may escalate into ww3.

Russia has, from the start, actively massacred civilians and destroyed vital infrastructure.

I hope Ukraine takes back all disputed territory and reduces Russian border cities to a fine dust, then accepts russias surrender along with a huge economy destroying set of reparations.

Well that was something i thought about too .. there's been news articles about Russia capturing civilians and turning them to intern camps, literally brainwashing, to become Russians. A few days ago there was an article about how recaptured Ukrainian schools and the children there had been forced to learn Russian.

Russia has so much land, 150 million citizens .. isn't that enough?

Ask the UN if Ukraine is using civilian infrastructure to their advantage (positioning troops and material) and endangers it's citizens.

This is patently false.

Russia's forces in Ukraine are entirely contract soldiers and mercenaries. There are also the militias of the breakaway republics, but they aren't Russian nationals. Russia hasn't mobilized any reserve forces, that is simply a fact.

This is so obviously false. Ukrainians have had running water, sewage and electricity for the entire 6.5 months of this conflict, despite Russia having the ability to hit anything they want, anytime they want, anywhere in Ukraine. Can you answer: Why is this the case if Russia is targeting civilians?

Months ago, when they wanted to knock out rail lines, they didn't even bomb the power plants that provide them electricity, they hit the substations that direct power to the rail lines. That's what makes the previous days' striking of power plants an escalation - they've never done it before.

The reason this matters is because I do think that people as ignorant as you seem perfectly capable of rising up through the ranks of Western society, getting into powerful executive, legislative and media institutions, where your delusional beliefs actually affect policy. If you believe these things, then you fundamentally misunderstand the room Russia has to escalate the situation into what an actual war looks like. Just look at what America did to Iraq, for example. In the first days, all water and electricity was knocked out, starting a series of events that killed hundreds of thousands of civilians. Blockading cities, letting women and children under 15 leave, then "turning them into dust" as you say. That's what a brutal war that targets civilians looks like, not whatever this Ukraine situation is.

Warsaw Pact had 400 million citizens "slaves".
An empire needs more citizens than 145 million that Russia currently has. Also Ukraine lands have very good soil, can feed a lot of people, and Russia could potentially use the food for politics, just as they do with resources.
