This debate is kinda silly. Geopolitically, Finland is a dwarf, a minnow. No decisions of true consequence are made in Helsinki. Would I be okay with a 36-year old party girl in charge in Washington, France or Berlin in times like these? No. But as long as she'd doing her job as PM of Finland, I don't see why she should't spend her free time the way she sees fit. So unless the drug test comes back positive or the opposition can point to a concrete way in which Marin neglected her job, this seems like a nothingburger to me.

Trump wanted to buy smiles whenever he went, so that he could pretend he is friend with everybody to help him win re-election.
The people around the world were selling these smiles.

Its challenging time for USA, you guys have a small population when compared to China or India. So the natural thing to do is for these countries to catch up with USA and then become leaders.
USA can stay no1, but only if it stays with its friends, who share similar liberał values. With your friends you can triple your potential and stay world leader.
What Trump wanted was "lets focus only on internal american affairs and ignore world politics".
This kind of thinking would simply let bigger countries take your friends into their spheres, peacefully or forcefully, so that in like 30 years you are alone and decay quickly.

If the theory is that Russia engaged in this war to prevent NATO expansion is true(nobody opposed to Putin believes this, even those who hide behind "realism"), it's been a complete failure. NATO is expanding, and it's more united than ever. Maybe the "realists" should start talking Putin out of his backward views.
