yeah joe has always leaned left more and supported candidates like bernie sanders. that's cool, he and some of the guests he brings on are entertaining and pretty open/honest which makes him more popular than most.
it's honestly confusing the point of this, it's always the left wing's narrative that joe rogan is the super right wing guy, "Nazi-adjacent" etc. not people on the right or central or even libertarian people. nobody else is under that illusion
while Joe himself has many left winged views there not views he fights for. He's pro weed and with his money just broke the law and continues to do so by smoking openly in texas all the time. Whereas many of his right winged views he's very up in arms about, covid lockdowns, vaccines, etc. He openly calls for people to vote out California leadership, but is supportive of Texas leadership despite them being against many of the things he supports. Same with Desantis.
this isnt helped by his skew of right winged guests and his style of not challenging guests very often. thats not something i fault him for its just relevant to the impression he gives off.
the fact is he's a mostly left winged guy, with some very right winged ideas on specific topics, and isn't willing to fight for his left winged ideas, but is willing to get huffy about his right winged ideas. and he can ignore a massive amount of disagreement with a guy like Desantis' platform because the things he truly cares about Ron does too.
