There are
at least 700 quintillion planets in the universe. That's 700 quintillion rolls of the dice for intelligent life. Out of the dice rolls that landed on intelligent life, not one has developed the technology and the desire to visit our planet or to communicate with us? That's absurd. Therefore, they're either already visiting us or they don't exist.
Now, there does seem to be something that is interacting with us. One problem. The thing that has been interacting with us doesn't behave in a way that one would expect another intelligent and biological entity to behave. See Jacques Vallee's work for more information.
