Zuckerberg doesn't own Facebook outright.

Bezos holds wapo through a holding company that he has an ownership stake in but doesn't control outright.

Reddit has always been privately owned but also isn't one of the major social media giants.

It’s a private company with a private rule book.
They can ban whoever they want to and do whatever they want to within their rights of owning said private company. Even shareholders have to sign that they’ll abide to the rules, no?
It’s pretty ridiculous how people are screaming about not interfering with private businesses, which twitter is, and then claiming that twitter is for the public as if it were owned by the public. As if you have a RIGHT to use a private company’s service they offer. Don’t like it? Don’t use twitter. I don’t.
Pretty entitled if you ask me.
Should twitter be allowed to enforce their rules? Absolutely.
Should a bakery be forced to make a gay cake? Fuck no.
