is ben and honest and good person? no. is he smart? yes. is he actually very smart, imo yes.

we can say he's not applying his intelligence well, because he could cure cancer or w/e, but he's wildly popular and successful. there's genius people out there that are lazy and working in a factory, that's the actual poor application of intelligence.

Well no the latter example is a matter of circumstance among other factors. Being intelligent isn't a free pass to a good life.

The rest: What is he successful at? As far as I know he's not actually accomplished anything that requires high intellect.

Is he popular? This is a terrible terrible metric to measure anyone by. I mean for christ sakes celebrities are some of the dumbest people on the planet.

He graduated cum ladde from Harvard law and skipped 2 grades in school to graduate highschool at 16.

i already said he is a right wing grifter, something that doesnt take a massive intellect, but that he's clearly way better at it than people like Crowder or Dave Rubin, and that shows his intellect. hes been in many debates with actual intellectuals, people get the idea of him being a jerk who picks only soft targets because videos of college students yelling at him go viral. he's an accomplished writer, columnist, and author.

Yeah, I'm not trying to say the guy isn't intelligent at all. But his application of that intelligence in the debate arena leaves a bit to be desired. He frequently gets caught up by knowledgeable people, and targets a specific market with his arguments. He's not dumb, for sure. Just not what a lot of people make him out to be.

He'll never win his war unless he becomes malleable. But his failure was being at war in the first place.

Intellectual, no doubt. Successful, beyond his imagination I reckon, and now has an audience to appease.
